Welcome to Ghazizadeh Lab

I have a broad interest in understanding nervous system function. My current focus is on the neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying value learning and memory, value-based decision-making, economic choice, and motivation in humans and nonhuman primates. I use psychophysics, neuroimaging, and electrophysiology, together with computational analysis and mathematical modeling, to investigate the principles that shape neural system structure and function and their relationship to behavior.

My previous research laboratories at Sharif University of Technology and the IPM School of Cognitive Sciences are now closed. Currently, I am not accepting new students or researchers.
